I'm writing despite Hell or High Water. I've got a few things I want to talk about.

First, I've been playing a game called Water Park Simulator. It's part of a popular genre where developers created these sim games with jank physics and strange graphics. It's not bad but it's obvious that some developers are using a similar script or the same assets for a quick turn over. It's hastily built but that's not really a problem for me as long as better stuff comes out in the future. As long as the developers plan to fix the game then it's easy for me to toss my hat in and buy the game. I've been burned before by games that have been stuck in early access for years. I recently tried to return such a game which I had for two years. I'm not getting that money back, but I tried anyway. It was obvious the developers had no intention, or ability to finish the game. Maybe it was too large or too ambitious, or maybe they were greedy and tried to make a quck buck. The developers also put an updated version on their own website, an act that's against Steam's policies. That's why I thought that I'd get my money back because it looks like the devs are a bunch of scumbags. But, Water Park is fun. When I was in highschool and had dreams of being a game designer, I made my own water park drawn on paper. I planed out where people would get the tickets and how the slides were designed. I did everything down to the game stands and the arcade just like my favorite water part Wyandotte Lake. I used to go to this part when I was a kid many years ago. I remember going there with my parents and sister and having a blast. I still remember the ads with the neat son that went with it. The park closed and was reopened as Zoobezi Bay which is a dumber name. I think it had to do with how it was bought by the local zoo when Six Flags sold it. I won't be able to recreate my childhood's park in this new game but I can try. I've only got one level unlocked and more stuff unlocks with each level but from what I can tell there's no wave pool and you can't control how the slides work. I thought it would be fun to decide how the slides twist. And an option to cut off the water all of a sudden and make the npcs skid down the slide would have been fun. The npcs are janky so much that they have interesting doll mechanics so when you run into them or hit them they fall to the ground, like a doll. I thought the wave pool would be perfect but this is likely the developer's first game and I can't expect too much. I unlocked this ability to use a squirt gun on smelly customers which is funny and beating the snot out of people trying to sneak in is also fun, but I wish that I didn't mistake my employees for those people. There's also this poop mechanic where if there aren't enough toilets I have to fish someone's crap out of the pool or it browns the water. There's an achievement for getting five hundred poops out of the pool so maybe I shouldn't build so many toilets. Pee I get, I used to pee in the pool, but poop? Honestly I never peed because I was stupid, I was just too lazy to go to find a bathroom. One of the aspects I like about this game that reminds me of Wyandotte is the fountains. You can set up these small fountains everywhere which is great for keeping yourself wet. No one likes getting out of the pool and drying out while getting food or waiting for the bathroom. This way, you stay wet no matter where you go. So far, I think the game is money well spent, I want to see what else the developers have in store, maybe I should float them my ideas.

Today I had a therapy session where I told my therapist about this idiot I saw online who made TikToks of himself spraying fruit at Walmart with bug spray or other stupid things for views. What did he think was going to happen. This young man is staring at a prison sentence for his idiotic behaviour. I told my therapist that I was glad I wasn't the only one who does something stupid. I'm not stupid, I know that, most of the time, but when I do something wrong I think that it's because of autism. I have plenty of "doh" moments, just like Homer Simpson and I think it's a perfect word for it. It's a relief to know that I'm smarter than some people. I want attention, but not that bad. There is such a thing as bad press.

I'm tired, I've got more to write about but this is a good start. I'll do more tomorrow.
