TPA 41

I'm doing well today. Yesterday, I had a bit of a drop and went home depressed. I think I was upset because I watched a video about the government using images and videos from Halo's Flood to spark up interest in deporting immigrants. I don't know why this set me off. It feels like America is divided into two groups with no room for compromise. There's supposed to be this balance between what the president does and Congress that seems to be ignored. Instead of negotiating with Democrats, Republicans are charging through anything. And there is a time for that but this isn't the time to destory everything. This is a time to find common ground and work together. After the surprise announcement of Halo: Campaign Evolved, ICE posted an AI image of the main character Master Chief in a Warthog with the text "Destroy the Flood. Join ICE.gov. This has sparked a lot of debate online. The original creators of Halo, despite their different political leanings, have been very vocal about their disagreement with using their IP to promote getting rid of illegal aliens. For those that don't know, the Flood is a parasitic alien species in the Halo universe that can only be erradicated by destroying them with the Halo rings, which also destroys all life. It's insulting to compare immigrants to the Flood as if they are parasites on society. At the same time, the Democrat's lack of action has also given Trump the power to do this. Whenever there's a Democrat president in charge, illegal immigration is ignored. People's concerns are ignored and when people feel unheard, they go to echo chambers where propaganda starts up. Before long, just because they feel they are being heard, these people start to believe these propagandists. People think that the propagandists really care. I've seen it on both the Left and the Right multiple times. No one wants to listen, so they take action. There's this fear that there's this secret movement to replace white people in the US. How did it get to that? It sounds ridiculous but when you see all these people flooding into the States you start to understand their concerns. It's an unfounded fear, but no one on the Left is doing enough to ensure them that something, anything is being done. It's this fear of being replaced stoked by propagandists and echo chambers. I guarantee you, if someone doesn't listen, these people will find and give money to and elect someone who at least seems to understand. That's why we have a bull in the White House right now. That's why there's a bunch of incompetent people who are helping him because Trump loves a suck up. It's not all the Left's fault but people need to feel that they are heard. It's gotten to where it's all open borders or closed borders with no room for negotiation or understanding. I know this because I often feel the same way. I'm on the low end of the rungs and someday it feels like I don't matter. When that happens, I try to go someplace where I'm understood, usually in my video games.

What really set me off is that no one is taking accountability for posting someone else's IP in a political way. The government shouldn't be allowed to do that. ICE posted a "Gotta Catche em All" post a few months back referencing Pokemon. Now it's Halo and Microsoft, the owner of Halo, hasn't said jack. The video I watched was one by a group I follow called Second Wind on Youtube. The narrator goes on to express his disdain for companies like EA which was recently sold to Saudi Arabia. EA has put out games that support LGBT people, Saudi Arabia, does not share this sentiment. So what will happen to EA? I don't care. I haven't played a game by them in years, if ever. I don't support LGBT because of it's ties to wokeness which nearly destroyed the entertainment and gaming industry. That said, I do know that not all gay people are woke. It's hard for me to differentiate when something is snuck into a series for propaganda reasons or for legitiment reasons. Take my work for example, every character is straight as a ramp. I don't know anything about LGBT and I don't plan to, no matter how many letters they demand be added to the list. The narrator of the video states how upset he was with companies that seem to support these minorities and marginalized groups with only words but shut them down once it's no longer popular to support them. I thought "Duh, did you really think any of these companies cared? It's all about money at the end." And then I turned the spotlight on myself. I thought about how I would feel if someone said they supported people with autism and then backed out the moment some new disorder became more popular or for whatever reason they decided to change their policies. It's happend to me already. Today, I was let down by a new therapist who was thirty minutes late, for the second time we've met. That's twice that she's not shown up. What a waste of my time and what an insult. I live in a time when autism and people on the spectrum are more understood than ever before. It's a time I wish that I had grown up in. There's nothing scarier than having a disorder that no one knows about and my folks went through that hell. There wasn't any smartphones or many doctors who understood my condition. We found a few people who could help, but it would have been better if we had them earlier. So, how would I feel if I was left out in the cold? Probably like how  I feel now. Betrayed, hurt, like I'm not worth their time. If it felt this bad to me, how much worse must it feel to those whom Microsoft or EA said they supported. I'll say it again, I despise wokeness, but I think there's room for some gray in this. Maybe I should be conderned when a group is hurt because what if it comes to me? These propagandists, if I trace their origin back to the athiests who were on Youtube fighting Christianity, some started off by using autism like a slur. How disappointing. The ones that remain, the few that still have followers after this flood of hatred to religion died out, they don't seem to make fun of autism any more. But I don't listen to them any more either. It's amazing what a few videos can do to stir up trouble. I think for now I won't be watching as many of the hateful Right wingers as much. There's still plenty to get mad at but I'll try to avoid their influence. Or their gaze because if I draw their ire, they'll try to destroy me. Someday, I bet there'll be a great psychological paper on the mentality of these people who spew all this anger online.
