Story based on a dream: Tape

I had this strange dream last night. Many of my dreams don't make sense in the heat of the moment but this one struck my interest. I was looking for loot in a park with a friend. She came across an eight track tape buried in the dirt. Beneath it was an old casset player with a tape still in it. We brushed off the dirt as best we could and tried to get it to play. Strangely enough, the tape worked despite the dirt and it played something horrible. It was this chant from a cult we had never heard of before. A horrible rendition of music and vocaloids that made us cringe. But that was the fun part I have to flesh out. What was on that tape that made us so uncomfortable? It reminds me of that Stephen King story where a guy has to draw pictures and gets paid money for doing so. But any excess money he has to pour down the drain to get rid of it. It's based on a strange dream King had about a guy pouring money down a sewer. In King's style, there's a big backstory behind the meaning. Our protagonist used to be harrassed at work by a coworker at this convenience store. Most of us have had a bad experience working a crappy job so this makes the story more relatable. So when the protagonist gets this dream job of drawing and emailing designs to people, he's estatic to be free of his old job. Of course, it wouldn't be a King story without a twist. The people he's been sending pictures to have committed suicide. Feeling guilty, he decides to quit but not before sending one last piece of work to the man who recruited him. The twist goes deeper as King uses this protagonist in his collection work The Dark Tower. The kid is a "breaker" and is likely captured by the Low Men in Yellow Coats. I always liked that phrase: Low Men in Yellow Coats. It makes you wonder what it means. Are they short? Why do they wear yellow? I think this might have had some influence on me in my KIY idea. 

So what do I do now? I have the seed of a story but that's all. Today, I want to work on my tooth story. I had some ideas I wanted to inject about alien invasion and more thoughts on pain. I want to try to get this done by Halloween if possible.
